Merry Christmas (and a Midnight Man review)!!

Christmas already - where has the year gone?!

I haven't posted that much to the blog this year - does anyone still read blogs? I kind of use it to achieve stuff like reviews etc so I know I've always got access to them if I need too.

Midnight Man: Gunspace came 6th in Pipedream Comics' best small press and indie comic of 2017 which both Mo and I were really chuffed with, thanks to everyone who voted for us.

Tony Esmond reviewed the book way back in October for Downthetubes, I should've posted this up ages ago!

I will again be at the True Believers Con at Cheltenham Racecourse at the start of February (one of my favourite shows, such a great family atmosphere, superbly ran by Stuart Mulrain and his team).

There is a charity anthology comic produced by Stuart to debut at the con and there's a single page brand new Midnight Man strip in there, alongside lots of other talented creators.

I've also done 5 pages for Mike Garley's latest (and last) Samurai Slasher book - Volume III The Final Chapter! My first go at colouring sequential pages myself (and I'm no colourist) I've got a copy of the book though and it does look amazing. Honoured to share a book alongside artists such as Gavin Mitchell, Rory Donald and Jim Lavery. Mike is such a talented writer too so it was a great project to be part of.

Unusre what 2018 will hold, got plenty of projects in various stages of development (or I may just take the year off) I'm honestly not sure yet. I need to rest up (and recover from a nasty sickness bug too!) and see how I feel after my break.

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

See you in 2018.
